Oppo has officially unveiled its latest flagship smartphones — the Oppo Find X9 Pro and the standard Find X9 — introducing some of the most powerful specs seen on any Android device this year. The Find X9 Pro, in particular, stands out with a massive 7,500mAh battery and a groundbreaking 200MP telephoto camera.
Power and Performance
The Find X9 Pro’s battery is among the largest ever fitted into a mainstream smartphone, surpassing even the OnePlus 15’s 7,300mAh cell. Oppo claims that both the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro will retain over 80% of their original battery capacity even after five years of use.
Charging speeds are also impressive, with support for 80W wired, 50W wireless, and 10W reverse wireless charging. The regular Find X9 isn’t far behind, featuring a 7,025mAh battery.
Both phones are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, delivering flagship-level performance for gaming, multitasking, and high-end photography.
Camera System Designed With Hasselblad
The Find X9 Pro’s major highlight is its 200MP telephoto camera co-developed with Hasselblad. It offers 3x optical zoom, but thanks to the high-resolution sensor, Oppo says it can deliver lossless zoom up to 13.2x. That’s a range that few smartphones can match.
The Pro model also features a custom 50MP ‘Ultra XDR’ main camera with Sony’s new LYT-828 sensor and a 50MP ultra-wide lens. The standard Find X9 has a triple 50MP setup — main, telephoto, and ultra-wide — for a balanced camera experience.
Display, Design, and Durability
The Find X9 Pro sports a 6.78-inch 120Hz display, while the base model features a slightly smaller 6.59-inch panel. Both offer smooth refresh rates and sharp, vibrant visuals.
Oppo has also emphasized durability this year. Both models carry IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, giving them protection against dust, powerful water jets, and even high-temperature sprays — a rare combination in smartphones.
A Strong Challenger in the Flagship Market
With its blend of a record-breaking battery, high-end cameras, and a sleek design, the Oppo Find X9 Pro sets a new benchmark for Android flagships. It’s a serious rival not only to Chinese competitors like OnePlus and Xiaomi but also to Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S25 Ultra.
Availability and regional pricing details haven’t been fully confirmed yet, but given Oppo’s history, the Find X9 series is expected to launch first in Asian markets before expanding globally.
