Realme is officially adding a new battery beast to its 16-series lineup. The company has confirmed that the Realme 16T 5G will make its Indian debut on May 22, 2026, positioning the device as the ultimate solution for power users and travelers who suffer from battery anxiety.
Dubbed the 3-Day Powerhouse, the Realme 16T is designed to bridge the gap between slim aesthetics and massive endurance.
The Largest Battery in Realme History
The headlining feature is undoubtedly the massive 8,000mAh Titan Battery. Realme claims this is the largest battery ever packed into a numbered series smartphone. According to the official teaser, the device can deliver up to three days of usage on a single charge and supports roughly 11 hours of continuous BGMI gameplay at a stable 60 FPS.
Despite the heavy-duty internals, Realme has managed to keep the device surprisingly sleek, maintaining an 8.8mm slim profile. To handle the massive capacity, it supports 45W fast charging and features All-Scenario Bypass Charging, a gamer-centric feature that allows the phone to draw power directly from the charger without heating up the battery.
Design and Performance
The Realme 16T 5G will sport a large 6.8-inch display, aimed at immersive media consumption. Under the hood, while Realme has been tight-lipped about the processor, recent Geekbench listings point toward the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset paired with at least 8GB of RAM. The phone is also expected to ship with Android 16 (Realme UI 7.0) straight out of the box.
On the design front, the 16T moves away from the circular modules of the Pro series, opting for a clean, square-shaped camera housing with a metallic finish on the side frames. It will be available in three distinct colorways:
- Aurora Green
- Starlight Red
- Starlight Black
